When I was younger I always dream to travel as far as I can, I want to see the different parts of the world, to see how it looks. After I finished my graduated from university, I got my first job and my first pay then, I could not wait for my first traveling.

In my first considering about traveling to abroad outside of my country, I was curious how it worked because I had no experience before, I had no clue at all, so I started to book the bus ticket to HCMC why HCMC? Because it was the one neighbor country that next door to us. It took only 6 hours to reach and the budget was pretty good for me.

I heard from people that we could get in HCMC without passport, just gave them some cash at the border, then we have passed it easily. Well, all it has worked well at the time, I checked into the hotel then, the problem came out here, the hotel needs your passport to do the recording, so I tried to deal with them, my friend actually was holding passport but they need both, finally they allowed us to check in, this was not fun experience at all.

I have learned from my first travel you must do the right thing, passport is very import for everyone, without passport how can you cross to other countries, we should follow the regulations and laws with no excuse.

I traveled to some part of Vietnam, I like CANTO where a lot of Cambodian people were living there, I feel blessing because here people understand me and I understand them, we were spoken the same language is Khmer, people were really nice and gave me warm greeting, brought me appetizing foods, we were dancing and singing together, I could not forget this kind of feeling, it was warming my heart.

I spent two days there, feel like a home to me, whatever at least I found something I can experience about their ethnic foods, the way of people living, their cultural and my first impression to Vietnam was really good, later then, I travel to Vietnam more than a hundred time haha….. their foods have attracted to me especially, the dripped Vietnamese-coffee was upright where no place I could not find. After I back to Cambodia, I quickly process my passport, I don’t want to be in troubles for next travel. Anyway, people always has the first time, and my first time traveled with no passport.
