If I have financial free I won’t make any budget for the traveling here, but I am not. I am the budget traveler, so before I travel to anywhere I have to make the itinerary and budget plan, how much I am going to pay for this, for that……………….. If you don’t have the budget plan you are going to mess up or may be break what you’re saving. Traveling is not free all about money and money out from your pocket. Some traveler says don’t think too much just pack and go without any plan. Well, plan is not the plan for true but the budget plan must be play the important role here. Most of Western and European people they are traveling on the credit card, and settle later. But for me as Cambodian I travel with my own saving bucket, that’s the big deal to manage the travel budget in properly.
Here are the main cost or direct cost and indirect cost. The main cost is the cost that you cannot deny.
The main cost:
Air ticket: Be done for air booking with multi-destinations and you are ready to settle it. It’s the actual cost and easy for you to do the budget plan. Be the flight hunter to catch the promotion fares.
Bus/Train: You must know you will catch the bus or train on the traveling path.
Accommodation: This is not much since you can stay in hostel or dormitory but it’s crucial to plan ahead.
Private room (8$-12$) Dormitory (4$-8$) it’s not much difference from private and dormitory but some they prefer to stay with differences countries. [This budged is not count the developing countries]
The indirect cost:
Meal fee: It depends on the course you take; you can manage it upon your budget. For example you set 5$-10$ per day.
Entrance fee: This is also not stick you can just pick two or three attraction places to visit. For the tourist might be a deal, cox they love to go where the trip adviser recommend but for the travelers we travel like the local, enjoy the every blocks of the roads, capture the moments we passes by, make new friends and talk to the strangers.
The variable cost or other cost like the local transportation [MRT-BTS-Shuttle bus-] and some tips. This you can make the estimation about 50$ for the whole trip.
Extra cost if you are the alcoholics then don’t forget this budget including.
