We flew from Tam Son Nhat international airport, we arrived to Hue about 11-30am then headed to our hostel. “Hue Boutique” Vietjetair is so much cheaper for local flight with a lot of promotions, just keep hunting on it. First day in Hue, I woke up in the awesome weather about 19-21 degree, People at Hue Boutique was very friendly, welcome, helpful with their beautiful smile.  I was really appreciated with the way they treated me. They provided a lot of information such as: where to eat, places to go, specialist local foods, it’s about 10Km from the airport to city with taxi is going to charge you more, catch the shuttle bus costs you only 2.5USD. We bought day tour started from 8.30am and finished at 4pm costs 7USD including lunch set but excluding entrance tickets.

First stop to visit the old Chinese house about more than 100 years in historical, the tour guide gave us more explanation of this old house, but it was just the wind passed through my ears, I did not pay an attention, because too busy on capturing.

There are tremendous differences names of plants and flowers. I have no idea all those, what I know is papaya, guava, mango, coconut tree so so…………. and some plants is good medicine for human treatment. He invited us for free tea inside the big house. We had five members in our tour group two Cambodian and three French people.  We made fantastic conversation, sharing cultures and history.

Second stop, we moved to [Thien Mu] Pagoda. It’s all about historical again, I can see there are tons of Chinese structures, and Chinese colonial was over 1000 years ago so many designs more likely Chinese styles, all architectures are beautiful. I wish to understand more about their history too.

Third stop, they assigned us to join with other tour members about 30 people in van, departed to [Empire tomb]. There are 10 tombs in Hue as I heard from the local people there, it’s time to pay for entrance tickets, 5USD for each tomb. We are on budget traveling; thus, we choose only one of them, another tomb just standing out and took photos.  The bus headed to [Minh-Mang tomb] the tour guide gave speeches about 30 minutes, what’s on the history, what was going on from the previous time happened during the China colonial.

[Khai Dinh tomb] is also one of the heritages in Vietnam, as we mention above [Minh-Mang empire tomb]. Old structure more likely to Macau architecture it was look so confusing. The last stop of tour went to the local market see how the people doing their business. [Dong Ba market] is claimed as the popular and big local wet market in Hue as local recommended don’t miss it.

We got there by boat cost about 5USD or 10USD depended on how you deal with them, we can also walk there or taxi but it will cost more money and need to cross the bridge. Most of the restaurants and bars was closed at 10.30pm after 11pm no people walking on the street, it’s weird. Just watch out when you are there about the price asking before taking any food or buying stuff. it will be shocked you.

Early morning off to Hoi An, the bus costs 12USD including tour guide, stunning views along the way. It was feeling great sitting in the van and watch through the window for amazing scenery. It takes you 3hours with 145Km distances from Hue to Hoi An. There are many heritage places in Vietnam such as: Lang Co beach, Hai Van pass, My Khe beach, Marble Mountain etc…. Lang Co beach is a famous beach of Thua Thien-Hue is a popular stop point for the tourists.

Hai Van pass is the highest pass and one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam, located along the Hai Van mountain side. We had 10 minutes to walk around the hill I was curious to see what’s on the top of the mountain. Foggy, Cloudy, Windy and super low temperature. About 1Km up to the top of mountain, we could see nothing there, because it was blanketed by foggy. So just on the half way of the top we decided to turn back.

Non Nuoc stone carving village located at the foot of Marble Mountain to the southeast of Danang city, this village has covering more than 200 years of the rich history. The stone materials are taken directly from the Marble mountain, later they have changed sources of stone from other provinces to keep the genuine of Marble mountain. We stopped by there for lunch time, spending one hour to see some statues.
