The story was started from the first day I have arrived to Yangon, Myanmar. I do love exploring without any local guides or group tour, I used map.me was kind of offline map easy to find the nearest landmarks and sightseeing in town. I just followed the map to see some pagodas and temples, local markets and talking to the strangers. About noon time I was starving and thirsty because Yangon is like in Phnom Penh, there are two weathers a year, hot and super-hot and the sun was shining on my head, so I had to find place for relaxing.

I found one small restaurant in street, they had local foods and beers, all the guys were in the house for drinking beer and I was the only woman there, sitting nearby them. I started to order beers then, they started to talk to me and cheer one glass by one glass in flowing. I have done almost 4 glasses (big glasses) and we had a great conversation even they did not speak good English and I did not understand their language too. The conversation took almost three hours and I was about to drunk anyways, the things was we did not really understand what each other talking about but we laughed a lot, that’s what make me feel incredible. We always said the language barrier doesn’t make the conversation going well, but if you open your heart to listen to feel, their smiling could tell everything.

My head started blanking and blurry I knew that I was drunk already, and I knew they are good people but I don’t want to lose my face here, so I left. I walked along the road and seeking for the sweet shop, maybe could release my damn alcohols, after having some sweet I felt much better and keep my steps moving on. Suddenly, I was so sleepy I couldn’t be going on, really need to find the place for laying down. I kept eyes on places, I saw the old lady was smiling to me, and I found the small bench I could say this place would be safe for a small nap. Just to closed my eyes was not a small nap, when I opened my eyes oh man a lot of people was around and gazing to me, like what was going on? I don’t know how to describe about that feeling, just feel like embarrassed and I don’t want to wake up and see the world haha….

To face with this awkwardness, I was trying to say hello to everyone, like nothing was happened, and run run run as far as I could. This experience taught me the lesson, never drink alcohol at day time, actually, I am good at drinking when it comes to the night time. This story made me laugh a thousand times, and I have questions to myself, how you dare? How can you do that?
