Singapore is composed of one main island, there are four official languages: English, Malay, Mandarin and Tamil.

2011 was my first flight to Singapore, I have been to Vietnam, Thailand, but I made it by road. I went to Singapore on Halloween while every road blocked by people. Many difference styles of costume dressed up.

Singapore is extremely small city, with MRT you can get around. There are some main spots like: China town, Orchard road, Clarke town, Marina bay, Chinese garden, Merlion park, Skyline and water fountain.

There are no street foods in Singapore, I don’t really like Singapore’s food then, China town will be my super smart choices where I can find Thai, Chinese food and other Asean foods. The standard living in Singapore would shocked me where I came from Cambodia, the living cost was triple. 3 dollars for one bottle of water, 2 dollars for coke, 5 dollars for one simply meal.

Merlion statue is one of the city’s most iconic sights, the major attraction place in downtown. People are getting there for photos and relaxing.

Garden by the bay is free for entrance fee but you have to pay 5 dollars for sky walk if you wish, the park consists of the three waterfront gardens: Bay south garden, Bay east garden and Bay central garden. The garden holds of full nature.

Marina bay is the world largest rooftop infinity swimming pool and also the area of skyscrapers. It costs 20 dollars for once entrance, but if you are booking with their stay will be free access for the pool.

Singapore flyer is the giant observation wheel, located in Marina bay street. It’s about 60 meters high and it costs 32 dollars.

Sentosa resort is off the southern coast of Singapore, there are two casinos and one universal studio theme. The resort is pretty huge one, the administration fee was 60 dollars including all games, most of the games are excited ever.

Don’t miss [SONG OF THE SEA] it was talking about one couple love story with amazing water lighting from the sea with heartbreaking music show. I was really enjoyed so much I paid administration fee for 15 dollars.

Jurong bird park is managed by wildlife reserves Singapore. I spent half an hour drive from downtown by taxi, there is no subway or MRT to reach there. The entrance fee was 28 dollars. As I remembered there are more than thousand kinds of birds. There are some birds you cannot find anywhere in the world but exist there. First time to me for seeing a little cuties penguin from the glass mirror, they were dancing, jumping and moving, I really want to touch and catch them but it doesn’t allow doing so.

Singapore is claimed as the first expensive city in the world, I definitely broke for this trip. Overall, there is nothing attractive if you are coming from the developing countries, it’s all about high, tall buildings, technologies and skyscrapers, but for me I was excited. Singaporean people are like the robot just walking straight on their way with headset and drinking their coffee.

Time is gold and silver for Singaporeans.
