Krabi is the main town of Krabi province, on the west coast of southern Thailand. The province has been given the several national parks and more than a hundred islands, the most attractive one is Ko Phi Phi island, Krabi is the perfect holidays destination.

I and my besties we flew from Bangkok to Krabi, in September was the rainy season. We got the island tour from the hotel arrangement, cost 900bath about 30USD one day trip return in the evening. Before headed to the island we did not check the daily weather, was that stormy or not? the sky was blue and had no rains, but who knew. Then the boat was departure from the pier, and we were wondered why no one would take the head of boat? So, we had chosen that places, the boat left the pier about 15minute then, we knew why no one took that seats, big wave and super bumping, people was running to the tail of boat, to keep steady, first experience and we have learnt the lesson.

When the boat started unsteady and bumping we were trying to tell boat captain, slow down please, slow down but captain did not care and ignored us, later we understood why he could not slow down the boat, the boat must keep along with the sea wave to survive otherwise the boat will smash with the power of waves.

Our first imagines once we arrived to the island was going to lay down, reading books, enjoy the sea views and swimming but the result, everyone was throw up. We really appreciated with the captain, was pretty skillful, he kept us safe back to the hotel.

The owner of the hotel was giving us two choices at the time, if we chose the big boat it was only stopped by Phi Phi island, for the small boat could dropped by many small islands, here why we have chosen facing with the adventurous, but wasn’t bad anyways haha. The tour package was free lunch and tour guide, they dropped by many islands for us to take photos, enjoy snorkeling and swimming with the fishes.

If you cherish your life do not go to islands in the rainy season. When boat was hitting with the stormy, what we could do was praying god. After we backed home a week, then got the news from Krabi island there 90 people were died from wave crashing in Andaman sea, thank god, we still alive. I cannot swim but I love sea the most.

Krabi town has the most beautiful and stunning views from every spot of the island, there are a lot of things to do in Krabi town too, like tons of street foods, bars, clubs and live bands music. People speak English, there is no barrier of communication, foods and drinks are affordable.
